a Jewish presence in the City of St. Louis
The Talmud teaches that when asked, “Why plant carob trees which will take seventy years to bear fruit,” the wise person responds, “As those before planted for me, so I must plant for the generations to come.”
Since 1984, Central Reform Congregation has grown from a handful of dreamers to a large and vibrant community. Our core values – a deep sense of community, respect for diversity, and commitment to social responsibility – shine through in all that we do.
The Dor V’Dor Endowment Fund is how we plan for our future and guarantee that the next generation will have access to this holy community. Annual membership contributions alone are not sufficient to support our current and anticipated needs. The Dor V’Dor Endowment Fund will provide a source of financial stability for our congregation’s future needs and guarantee our ability to maintain our policy that financial hardship should never be a barrier to participation. It will create a cushion to protect us from economic uncertainty and guarantee the sustainability of what we have created.
We ask you to consider including Central Reform Congregation in your estate planning.
