Confirmation, held at the end of 10th grade, is another opportunity for our young people to affirm their commitment and to share what they have learned about their faith and themselves with their family members and with the CRC community.

CRC's Confirmation Program meets with Rabbi Susan approximately twice a month throughout 10th grade and allows students to study and determine how the Jewish traditions and values they have learned fit with their lives as young adults in the 21st century. A special highlight of the year is the annual trip to New York, a whirlwind tour that takes the group from Ellis Island to Crown Heights to Broadway.

The Confirmation ceremony is held during a Friday night Shabbat service, usually in mid-May. As part of the ceremony, each confirmand shares brief remarks with the community.

While Confirmation is the last formal ceremony recognizing educational achievements, we hope that it is really the beginning of a full life of learning for our students!
