lifelong learning

Hebrew School

Grades 3-6

CRC's Hebrew School program is fun and engaging for our students! Our program uses a variety of hands-on and small group experiences to help students learn the Hebrew letters, master the words found in prayers, and learn the blessings and prayers used during holidays, special events, and Shabbat services.

Students spend significant time in small group study in our "kibbutz," studying letters and practicing words and prayers aloud. This setup allows students to move forward at their own pace. Click here for a detailed explanation of our Hebrew curriculum.

In addition to studying the language, Hebrew School students also learn together about Jewish prayer, stories, history, expression and actions.

Hebrew School meets twice a week during the school year - Saturdays from 10am-noon at First Unitarian Church (across the street from CRC) and Wednesdays from 4-6pm at CRC.
